Purchased in 1947, Charlotte’s House traditionally hosted all family holiday gatherings. When questioned where they were going for any given occasion, the response was usually “Charlotte’s House” .

When Innkeepers inherited the home, converting it into a bed and breakfast seemed only natural. They rolled up their sleeves and tackled the renovation almost entirely by themselves. After two years of hard work, the result is a work of love and dedication.

With 8 working fireplaces, wide plank floors, and furnished throughout with family pieces, oriental rugs and traditional artwork this 1812 farmhouse reflects Yankee ingenuity and comforts of days gone by.

Only three guest rooms, all with private bath ensure peace and quiet to our guests. Enjoy a full homemade breakfast or, upon request, an early light meal. You’ll find homemade cookies in your room upon check-in and an outdoor swimming pool for your summertime enjoyment.
